Countrywide Drug Network Busted
Further investigations revealed Bond and James had been travelling across the UK arranging the purchase, supply, and distribution of significant amounts of Class A and B drugs. Both had prior convictions for firearms offences.
Serious Organised Crime Unit Delivers Justice
“The sentences reflect the seriousness of their offending,” said DS Eddie Hammond from the Norfolk and Suffolk Serious and Organised Crime Unit. “The two used encrypted devices for wholesale drug deals and were caught with a loaded firearm. Their refusal to answer questions only added to the case against them. Our team’s hard work underlines our commitment to making Norfolk and Suffolk safer.”
The pair were convicted at Crown Court on 28 February 2022 and sentenced at Norwich Crown Court on 3 March 2022.
