Coach Driver Brutally Attacked in City Centre Brawl
Police have released CCTV snaps of two men wanted over a shocking assault on a coach driver in Nottingham city centre.
Driver Dragged Off Coach and Smashed
The National Express driver suffered a broken ankle after being pulled from his bus and attacked at a Station Street bus shelter. The violence erupted when the two men tried to hop on the coach without a valid ticket or enough cash to pay.
The early morning incident happened on 12 June 2022, between 4.35am and 4.50am outside Trent 1, as the coach was heading to Birmingham.
Police Crack Down on Brutal Attack
“This was an unpleasant incident and we simply will not tolerate attacks like this on hardworking people who are simply doing their job,”
said PC Joseph Blake of Nottinghamshire Police.
He added: “We believe the people in these images could have valuable information that could assist our inquiries. It is really important that anyone who recognises them gets in touch with us, so that we can ask them some questions.”
