Two Charged with Attempted Murder in Smethwick Shooting
West Midlands Police have charged two men over a terrifying shooting in Smethwick last month. Tyjon Cogger, 22, and Saabir Mohamed, 25, face attempted murder charges following the incident on Cape Hill.
Early Morning Shooting on Cape Hill
The drama unfolded just after 3am on October 23. Gunshots rang out, leaving a victim seriously injured. The victim was rushed to hospital with gunshot wounds but thankfully is not in a life-threatening condition.
Suspects in Custody Ahead of Court Appearance
Both men, who have no fixed address, have been remanded in custody. They are set to appear at Birmingham Crown Court in January to answer the charges.
