Tower Hamlets Monster Jailed for 20 Years
Dulon Miah, 35, from Tower Hamlets, has been locked up for 20 years at Snaresbrook Crown Court. This follows his conviction in April for 18 counts of sexual assault, including rape, spanning 14 years against two female victims.
Victims Brave Enough to Speak Out
The Met launched their probe in 2022 after a victim came forward, revealing abuse from the age of six over a decade. Both victims were known to Miah, making the betrayal even more horrific.
Met Pledge Justice and Support
Detective Constable Lucy Bowman, who led the case, said: “We treat cases like this with utmost seriousness. We’re proud to have secured justice for these survivor-victims and taken a dangerous predator off the streets.”
“The Met is committed to protecting women and girls. We urge anyone who has suffered abuse, no matter how long ago, to come forward and get the support they deserve.”
Police Work Leads to Second Victim Coming Forward
Thanks to thorough police work, a second victim stepped forward, exposing Miah’s long reign of abuse. Officers carried out detailed interviews and collected medical records to build a solid case.
