Blazing Bin Store Sparks Midnight Mayhem in Brighton

Firefighters scrambled to Brighton seafront in the dead of night after a bin store burst into flames.

Early Morning Alarm on King’s Road Arches

Just after midnight, at 12:16am, East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to a fire outside a commercial property on King’s Road Arches, Brighton. Two fire engines from Preston Circus raced to the scene.

Rapid Response Puts Out Fire in Under 30 Minutes

Brave crews donned breathing apparatus and tackled the blaze with a single hose-reel jet. The fire was under control and fully extinguished by 12:45am. Fortunately, no one was hurt.

Fire Cause Still a Mystery

Police joined the firefighters to investigate the scene. East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the cause of the fire is currently unknown and inquiries are ongoing.
