A 49-year-old man from South Gloucestershire has been locked up for 14 months after trying to meet what he thought was a teenage girl at a Swansea B&B.

Dirty Plan Foiled by Online Sting

Rodolfa Galvao, from Yate, was chatting online with an account he believed belonged to an underage girl. But the account was actually run by a sting group posing as the teen.

Galvao booked a room at a Mumbles B&B, hoping for a sexual encounter. He was caught red-handed after the disguised group confronted him at Parc Tawe.

Shocking Grooming Messages Uncovered

Police seized Galvao’s phone and found explicit messages showing clear grooming intent towards the fake account.

He admitted trying to meet a girl under 16 following grooming, sealing his fate in court.

Justice Served: Predator Sentenced

Galvao pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 14 months behind bars. Authorities say this sends a powerful message against online predators targeting children.
