Emergency services rushed to a crash site close to Wennington Interchange at 3.16am on December 1 after reports of a collision between a van and a car.

Man Hurt, Driver Arrested

Paramedics treated a 38-year-old man for a leg injury and rushed him to hospital. Thankfully, doctors confirmed his injuries were neither life-threatening nor life-changing.

The driver of the car, a 41-year-old man, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of multiple motoring offences. He remains in police custody and was unharmed in the crash.
