Man Injured in Smash on A303 Near Wylye
A man in his 30s was seriously hurt after crashing his car into a stationary lorry on the A303 near Wylye today at around 1.20pm.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene and closed the A303 both ways to deal with the crash and tend to the injured driver. He was quickly taken to hospital, and his family has been informed of his condition.
A303 Shut as Rescue Teams Respond
The busy A303 was temporarily closed in both directions while emergency services worked at the scene. Authorities expect the road to reopen shortly.
Police Launch Appeal for Witnesses
Wiltshire Police are appealing for anyone who saw the crash or caught it on dash cam to come forward. Witnesses should call 101 quoting log number 152 from January 8.
