Michael Bull Linked to Sister’s Mysterious Death
Michael Bull, 58, has been found responsible for unlawfully killing his sister, Susan Bull, in Bristol. A hearing of facts at Bristol Crown Court concluded on Friday 17 April, with a jury agreeing that Michael caused her death despite him being deemed unfit to stand trial.
999 Call and Tragic Discovery
On 6 October 2023, Michael dialled 999, desperate for an ambulance as Susan was found not breathing. Paramedics rushed to their home in Bedminster, but Susan was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cause of Death Remains Unclear but Not Natural
Forensic post-mortem examinations failed to establish a direct cause of death. However, the coroner confirmed the death was not due to natural causes, deepening the mystery surrounding Susan’s passing.
Cop Speaks Out: “Tragic and Complex Investigation”
“These are incredibly tragic circumstances and our thoughts are with Susan’s loved ones,” said Detective Inspector Neil Meade. “This was an incredibly challenging and complex investigation which has spanned almost two and a half years, utilising several divisions of the Major Crime Investigation Team. We hope that Michael can now get the support he needs and Susan’s family are given some closure.”
Michael Bull is set to appear again at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday, 19 May.
