Driver Dies After Horror Crash in Paddington
Emergency services rushed to Gloucester Terrace, Paddington, just before 8pm on Tuesday following a serious car crash. The Metropolitan Police, London Ambulance Service, and London Fire Brigade scrambled to the scene after reports a vehicle had smashed into a wall near Ranelagh Bridge.
Man Found Critically Injured
Officers responded to the incident at 7.45pm on February 28, where the driver was found fighting for his life. Despite frantic efforts by paramedics and firefighters at the scene, the man tragically died shortly afterwards.
“The car’s driver was discovered in critical condition. Despite the efforts of emergency personnel, he died shortly after arriving at the scene. There are ongoing efforts to notify his next of kin. A scene has been set up,” a Met Police spokesperson confirmed.
Police Maintain Heavy Presence
A large cordon remains in place around Gloucester Terrace, with numerous emergency personnel still at the scene. Investigations are ongoing as authorities work to piece together the circumstances leading to the fatal smash.
