Man Dies in Disturbance Outside Manchester Printworks
Tragedy struck Greater Manchester on Saturday night when a 60-year-old man died following a disturbance on Dantzic Street, just near the bustling Printworks. The incident unfolded shortly after 8pm, involving a group of people outside.
One Arrested on Murder Suspicion
Greater Manchester Police quickly arrested a man at the scene on suspicion of murder.
“This was a tragic incident where a 60-year-old has lost his life and our thoughts are with his family and friends who are understandably devastated,” said Superintendent Dave Kehoe from GMP’s Serious Crime Division.
Investigation Underway – Police Seek Witnesses
Police have sealed off the area and are piecing together what happened amidst a crowd, as the location was busy at the time.
Superintendent Kehoe urged anyone who saw anything to come forward, saying: “Even the smallest information could assist with our investigation.”
