Tragic Crashes Claim Four Lives Across London
Four fatal collisions recently rocked London, killing two pedestrians and two motorcyclists. Another biker remains critically injured following a smash in Bromley.
Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Drivers
Chief Inspector Lora John from the Met’s Roads and Transport Policing Command said each crash is under separate investigation. She stressed the incidents aren’t linked but the spate is “disturbing and tragic.”
“My thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones. Specialist police officers will support them through this difficult time,” she added. “In two cases, the drivers fled the scenes. We are urgently hunting for them.”
Inspector John urged anyone with dashcam footage or information to come forward, warning: “Days like these show just how much needs to be done to stop needless deaths on London’s roads.”
