Haringey Murder Shock: Man Arrested Over Brian Edwards Killing
Deadly Stabbing in Upper Tollington Park
Detectives in Haringey have cracked a key lead in the murder of 53-year-old Brian Edwards. A 32-year-old man was arrested on Friday, September 22, on suspicion of murder and remains in custody as the investigation heats up.
The tragedy unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday, September 19, when the London Ambulance Service got a call about a stabbing in Upper Tollington Park, N4. Police rushed to the scene and found Brian critically injured.
Victim Dies at Scene
Despite frantic efforts from paramedics and officers, Brian Edwards sadly died at the scene. His family have been informed. A post-mortem on September 20 confirmed he died from stab wounds.
Investigation Underway
Detective Chief Inspector Lucy Carberry is leading the probe, urging anyone with information to come forward.
