Kent Cops Bust London Drug Gangs in Major County Lines Raid

Kent Police have dealt a blow to ruthless county line drug dealers smuggling crack cocaine and heroin from London into Kent. On 5 August 2021, the force’s County Lines and Gangs Team swooped on several addresses linked to drug rings targeting vulnerable users.

Crack and Heroin Seized in Bromley and Thamesmead Raids

In the early hours, officers raided a property in Bromley tied to a county line operating in Canterbury. They recovered drugs, cash, a mobile, and a flick knife.

Aubrey Goodison-McIntosh, 24, of Leinster Gardens, Bayswater, London, was promptly charged with multiple drug supply offences. He was due in Folkestone magistrates the following day.

Elsewhere, police hit a Thamesmead address linked to a separate county line pushing drugs around Maidstone. They seized class A drugs and phones.

Abdifatah Mohamoud, 19, from New Acres Road, Thamesmead, faces charges of supplying crack cocaine and heroin. He was scheduled to appear at Medway magistrates on 6 August.

Cross-Force Coordination Targets County Line Routes

Kent Police teamed up with the Metropolitan Police and British Transport Police to patrol railway stations at Penge and Anerley. These hotspots are known transit points for county line dealers heading into Kent.

Detective Superintendent Shaun White said: “Disrupting drug supply networks is a priority for Kent Police. We’ve made great progress reducing county lines here over recent years.

“But our work is far from over. We will relentlessly pursue those exploiting vulnerable people, putting offenders behind bars, and removing harmful drugs from our streets.

“These operations show we won’t hesitate to take the fight to their London bases, making arrests and seizing cash and drugs to protect our communities.”
