250 Cannabis Plants Seized in Massive Dover Drug Raid
Police have smashed a “sophisticated” cannabis farm after seizing 250 plants at a property near Maison Dieu Place, Dover. Officers swooped on Wednesday afternoon following a tip-off from local residents using the My Community Voice platform.
Sophisticated Grow Operation Busted
Kent Police executed a warrant, uncovering a fully equipped grow house packed with mature cannabis plants. Photos reveal rows of lush greenery under high-powered lights and ventilation systems typical of illegal drug farms.
“We take all information we receive from the local community seriously and, on this occasion, it has resulted in a sophisticated cannabis cultivation being dismantled, disrupting the work of organised crime,” said Sergeant Gavin Rolfe, who led the raid.
“I urge anyone who has suspicions that drugs may be being produced or sold in their area to contact us so we can take action.”
