Car Rockets Into Mick’s Burger Van on Portsdown Hill

A car careered into the popular Mick’s Burger van on Portsdown Hill this Friday afternoon, causing chaos at around 2.30pm.

Driver Loses Control in Blue Vectra

Eyewitnesses say the man jumped into his blue Vectra, started the engine – and the car shot forward like a rocket, already in gear. The vehicle first clipped a motorbike before smashing into the burger van’s serving hatch.

“It all happened so fast,” one onlooker told us, describing the shocking scene.

Quick Ambulance Check, But No Serious Injuries

An ambulance was called to check on both the driver and the motorcyclist. Thankfully, both appear to have escaped without injury.

Mick’s Burger Van Temporarily Closed

The impact damaged the side of the trailer and affected the gas supply. Mick has shut the van to carry out urgent repairs but promises to be back in business as soon as possible.

“We’re working hard to get back up and running,” Mick said.
