Blaze Breaks Out on Second Floor in Dagenham Home

London Fire Brigade rushed to a fire in a residential property on Studley Road, Dagenham, after smoke was spotted pouring from the second floor on Monday evening.

Firefighters Battle Smoke and Flames

The alarm was raised shortly after 5.20pm on 24 June, prompting two fire engines to speed to the scene. Crews quickly deployed hose reels and wore breathing apparatus before entering the building to tackle the blaze.

Multiple fire appliances supported the initial response as firefighters worked to contain the smoke. The exact cause of the incident is still unknown, and there are no confirmed reports of injuries at this stage.

Safety Warning Issued to Locals

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson at the scene said:

“Crews are currently responding to a report of smoke issuing from the second floor of a property in Studley Road. Firefighters are on the scene and investigations are underway.”

Residents nearby have been urged to steer clear of the area and to keep windows and doors shut to avoid inhaling smoke.
