Man Found Dead in Walthamstow Park – Police Launch Murder Probe

Detectives are hunting answers after a man’s body was found in Walthamstow.

Police were called at around 1.40pm on Monday, 24 August, after a member of the public discovered an unresponsive man in St James Park, E17. Officers rushed to the scene but the man, believed to be in his thirties, was pronounced dead.

Next of Kin Informed as Crime Scene Set Up

His family have been informed and are being supported by officers. Formal identification is pending, and a post-mortem examination will be arranged soon.

The death is currently being treated as suspicious. A crime scene remains in place, and enquiries are ongoing. No arrests have been made yet.
