Police Urgently Hunt Man Linked to Four Harassment and Assault Cases
Police are on the lookout for a man suspected of targeting women in a string of disturbing incidents across the city. Four cases involving the same man were reported on 5 and 15 February, and officers believe they are linked.
Four Separate Attacks in Two Weeks
- 5 February: Around 2pm, a woman in Broadhurst Place reported being followed by a man.
- Later that day at 5.40pm, a woman in the Wickhay area said a man approached from behind and grabbed her.
- 15 February: At 2.30pm, a woman in her 20s was assaulted in Pamplins.
- Just before 3pm, another woman was sexually assaulted after being approached from behind in Nether Priors.
Police Release New CCTV Image
Detectives first issued a CCTV image of the suspect on 6 February following the initial attacks. After the latest incidents, a new image has been released, and police are convinced it shows the same man.
