Man, 42, Stabbed to Death in East Ham

Police were called just after midnight on Monday, 17 June, after a man was found collapsed and unresponsive with stab wounds on Whalebone Lane, near West Ham Lane, E15. Officers rushed to the scene, but the 42-year-old was pronounced dead at 1.01am.

Victim Identified as Lithuanian National

A post-mortem at East Ham Mortuary confirmed the cause of death as hypovolemic shock from multiple stab wounds. While formal ID is pending, police believe the victim is Giedrius Juskauskas, a Lithuanian living in East Ham. His family has been informed.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector Larry Smith, leading the inquiry, urged anyone near Whalebone Lane around 00:30hrs to come forward. “Did you see anything suspicious? Your information could be crucial to our investigation,” he said.

No arrests have been made so far. Enquiries are ongoing.
