Man Arrested Over Brutal Hounslow Murder of ‘Brim’
Detectives have swooped on a London home, arresting a man this morning on suspicion of murdering 35-year-old Ebrima “Brim” Cham in Hounslow.
The suspect was taken into custody at a London police station following the arrest, which comes as officers released an image of the victim to the public.
Family’s Heartbreak After Tragic Killing
Brim’s family described their grief as a “nightmare” after being handed the devastating news on Thursday. They said:
“We are absolutely devastated. Our nightmare started this Thursday, having a detective chief inspector and family liaison officer sitting in our home breaking the worst possible news, that our beloved ‘Brim’ has been so brutally murdered.”
They added how news of such violence often feels distant—until it hits home.
“You read about murders in the news and you think ‘It will never be us’, let alone when Brim should have been safe in a flat. We haven’t slept since Thursday, we feel numb with pain and there are so many questions, not least, why?”
Call for Witnesses to End the ‘Barbaric Behaviour’
The family urged anyone with information to come forward and support the investigation, pleading for an end to senseless violence.
“We know very little and that’s why we plead with people to help and to support the police. Please stop this barbaric behaviour. And to whoever has done this, what have you achieved?”
The tragedy has cast a shadow over what should have been a time of family celebration and peace, leaving loved ones mourning Brim’s untimely death.
