Domino’s Issues Urgent Peanut Allergy Warning Over Popular Dips
Domino’s Pizza has slammed the alarm on two of its dipping sauces. The Garlic and Herb and Honey and Mustard dips could contain undeclared traces of peanuts, posing a serious risk to peanut allergy sufferers.
Recall Hits Both Big and Small Pots
The recall covers both the 100g ‘Big Dip’ and the smaller 25g pots. Customers with peanut allergies are urged to avoid these dips immediately and throw them away if purchased. Domino’s warns the hidden peanuts are a significant health hazard and stresses this is a major safety concern.
“At Domino’s Pizza, the quality of our products and the safety of our customers is the highest priority, particularly when it comes to allergens,” a Domino’s spokesperson said.
What You Need to Know
- If you have a peanut allergy, do NOT eat the Garlic and Herb or Honey and Mustard dips.
- Dispose of any affected dip pots without delay.
- For those NOT allergic to peanuts, Domino’s confirms no further action is needed.
- Full allergen info is available on Domino’s website for concerned customers.
Another Recall in a String of Allergen Alerts
This latest recall adds to a growing list of UK food safety scares. Big names like Aldi, Oreo, and McCain have also issued allergen warnings recently, highlighting ongoing challenges in food labelling and safety.
