Late-Night Brawl in Bournemouth Sends Man to Hospital
Violent Clash Rocks St Michael’s Lane
A fight erupted late on Christmas Eve in Bournemouth’s St Michael’s Lane. At 11.21 pm on Sunday, 24 December 2023, police were called to break up a brawl involving a group of individuals.
A man in his 30s suffered head injuries during the fracas and was rushed to hospital by ambulance. The victim is a local Bournemouth resident.
21-Year-Old Arrested Over Assault
Police quickly moved and arrested a 21-year-old man with no fixed address on suspicion of assault linked to the incident. The suspect remains in custody as investigations continue.
Police Hunt Witnesses and Footage
Detective Constable Rhiannon House from BCP CID is asking anyone who saw the disturbance to step forward. She said:
“If you were in the area on St Michael’s Lane at the time, please contact us. Any CCTV, dashcam, or phone footage could be vital to our inquiries.”
