Tragic Dagenham Crash: One Dead, Two Flee Scene
Police are hunting witnesses after a deadly crash in Dagenham this week.
Fatal Collision Shakes Heathway
Officers were called to Heathway, near Oxlow Lane, at around 6.05am on Thursday, 30 April, following reports of a collision involving two cars.
Medics from the London Ambulance Service arrived promptly, but sadly, the driver of one vehicle – a man – was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two Suspects Flee on Foot
The other car’s occupants bolted from the scene, fleeing on foot. Police are now scrambling to track them down.
Police Seek Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers want anyone who saw the crash or anything leading up to it to come forward. Drivers with dashcam footage are urged to get in touch.
