Emergency services scrambled this afternoon after a truck smashed into a shopfront in Forest Gate, East London. The shocking crash involved what is believed to be a van and a car, leaving several people trapped inside.
Road Blocked as Rescue Teams Rush In
The incident happened just after 3pm at Punjab Mial International on 1 Road. Fire crews from the London Fire Brigade, including a specialist rescue unit, as well as the London Ambulance Service’s Hazardous Area Response Team (HART), were rapidly deployed.
