Massive Blaze Hits Chadwell Heath Flat – Child Hospitalised

A huge fire tore through a flat above a shop on High Road in Chadwell Heath in the early hours of Sunday. The inferno tore through the entire roof and gutted most of two first-floor flats.

12 Fire Engines and 80 Firefighters Battle Fierce Blaze

The London Fire Brigade scrambled a massive response, sending twelve fire engines and around 80 firefighters to tackle the furious flames. Crews from Ilford, Dagenham, Romford, Hainault, and neighbouring stations joined forces to bring the blaze under control by 7:29 am.

Residents Escape, But Child Taken to Hospital

Three residents fled the burning building before firefighters arrived. All were treated at the scene by London Ambulance Service teams. Sadly, one child was rushed to hospital. The child’s condition is currently unknown.

Cause of Fire Under Investigation as Community Stunned

The first emergency call came at 4:06 am, triggering a swift response. Fire investigators are now probing the cause of the devastating blaze. Local residents remain shaken by the incident, with authorities urging everyone to stay alert as the probe continues.
