Seafront Brawl Shakes High Street: Teens Arrested
A violent scuffle broke out at the seafront end of the town’s High Street last Friday at 5.07 p.m., June 10, 2022. Four or five attackers reportedly set upon another group before fleeing the scene.
Bladed Weapon Seized, Minor Injury Reported
Police swooped on the scene and found a bladed weapon. No injuries were spotted on arrival, but further checks suggest one person may have suffered a minor wound.
Three Teens Arrested as Investigation Heats Up
Three local boys – two aged 16 and one aged 15 – were arrested over public order offences. Two were bailed and must return to the station on July 4. The third remains in custody.
Police Hunting Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
“We’re urging anyone who saw the fight or has mobile footage to come forward,” said Detective Inspector Vanessa Law of Margate CID. “Motorists with dashcams and businesses with CCTV, please check your tapes.”
