Teen Girl Shot in Shocking Camden Drive-By

A teenage girl was rushed to hospital after being caught in a hail of bullets during a terrifying drive-by shooting in Camden late Saturday night.

Gunfire Rocks Clarence Gardens

Armed police and paramedics scrambled to Clarence Gardens, NW1, just after 10pm on August 14. Witnesses reported a speeding car zoomed past, unleashing five shots from an automatic weapon. One bullet struck the young girl, who was crying out in pain as bystanders rushed to help.

“I saw her fall and scream. I ran over and told her she’d be alright. I stayed with her until the police arrived,” said one witness.

Chaos as Stabbing and Shooting Hit Same Block Party

The night’s violence didn’t stop there. A man was also stabbed nearby during a block party, escalating the already dangerous scene.

A police helicopter circled the area, searching for the suspects and the vehicle that sped off after the attack.

Police Launch Manhunt, Call for Info

Met Police confirmed officers, including firearms units, arrived quickly and treated two women at the scene before rushing them to hospital. Two more victims—a man and a woman—self-presented at hospital with gunshot wounds. The condition of all four remains unknown.

A police spokesman said:

“Police were called at 22:10hrs following reports of gunshots in Clarence Gardens. A crime scene is in place, and enquiries continue. No arrests have been made. This is not terror related.”

A police cordon remains in force, and a Section 60 order covering Camden borough is active from 11:36pm Saturday until 7am Sunday, allowing stop-and-search powers.
