Sentimental Wedding Ring Stolen on Central Line Tube

British Transport Police (BTP) are hunting three men caught on CCTV after a heart-breaking theft on a Central line Tube train. The victim’s gold wedding ring, engraved with the name “Finola” and the date “2.9.89,” was snatched in the early hours of February 9 at Oxford Circus station.

Four Men Rip Necklace from Victim as Train Doors Close

The robbery unfolded around 3:55am when four men targeted the victim. They grabbed a gold necklace from his neck just as the train doors were shutting. The precious ring attached to the chain holds huge sentimental value for the victim.

One man, aged 24, has been arrested on suspicion of robbery. But the BTP still needs to identify three other suspects who could hold vital information.

BTP Plea: Spot These Men? Step Forward Now

“We are releasing CCTV images of three men we would like to speak to in connection with this robbery. The theft of this wedding ring has caused great distress to the victim due to its sentimental value. We urge anyone who recognises the individuals in the images or has any information about the incident to come forward.”
