Hampshire police have launched a major probe after a hit-and-run in leafy Havant. On Friday night, a gunmetal grey Volkswagen with black tinted windows smashed into a teenage boy in Leigh Park, leaving him for dead.

Driver Flees Scene

The VW sped off with a damaged offside headlight, leaving behind trim fragments at the crash site. Cops are now hunting the reckless driver who abandoned the injured teen.

Serious Injuries and Hospital Race

The boy, believed to be in his teens, suffered suspected back and neck injuries. He was rushed to Queen Alexandra Hospital strapped to a spinal board, with medics battling to save him.
