Child Snatched at Warwick Avenue in Broad Daylight
A shocking incident unfolded on Warwick Avenue around 4 p.m. last Saturday, April 15, sparking a police hunt for witnesses.
Four Men Force Young Boy Into Car
Four men in a black Mini pulled up as a child crossed the road. They forced the youngster into the car before speeding off towards Canterbury Avenue. Three of the men jumped out, shouting angrily at the boy.
Victim Released Minutes Later
About ten minutes after the abduction, the Mini returned to Canterbury Avenue and let the child go. The driver, a white male in his twenties with short dark hair, was dressed all in black.
Distinctive Mini Clubman and Suspect Details
- The car: Black Mini Clubman with two red stripes over the top, a red roof, and dark alloy wheels.
- Front passenger: White male, 20s, short dark hair, approx. 5’8”, wearing grey tracksuit bottoms and a puffa hooded top. He carried a long stick or knife about one metre in length.
- Back seat passengers: Two white males in their twenties, both about 5’9”. One had short brown hair, slim to muscular build, red t-shirt, black trousers, and black-and-white trainers. The other had short black hair, slender frame, and wore a black jumper with black tracksuit bottoms.
Police Appeal for Dash-Cams and CCTV
Detective Constable Ashley Jones from Slough police station said: “We are pleading for anyone who may have seen this incident or has information to come forward. Drivers nearby should check dash-cam footage, and residents are urged to examine any CCTV around Warwick Avenue and Canterbury Avenue.”
