Massive Police Raid Shakes Quiet Biggin Hill Village
Biggin Hill in Kent was rocked in the early hours of Wednesday as over 60 armed officers stormed a local farmhouse in a dawn raid. The operation, part of a major UK crackdown on county-line drug dealers and suppliers, left neighbours stunned.
Chaos Erupts at 4am
Residents were woken by screams and the crashing sound of police battering rams smashing through windows and ramming electric gates. Officers in fireproof suits swarmed the property just after 4am, flooding the street with police vans and undercover units. The road stayed blocked for hours as the raid unfolded.
Armed Police Seize Shotgun and Shells
A woman in a pink dressing gown was led away by officers while a shotgun and ammunition were loaded into an undercover police vehicle. A shaken man at the scene revealed that multiple arrests were made and the raid was connected to drug supply.
“We’ve lived here for 42 years and never seen anything like this. It’s a major investigation and other people have been arrested,” he said.
Official Police Statement
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed: “On 26 February, officers executed two search warrants relating to an ongoing drugs supply investigation. The warrants were carried out at locations in Biggin Hill and Keston.”
Despite multiple arrests, no official confirmation of charges has been made, and enquiries are ongoing.
