Pedestrian Suffers Life-Changing Injuries in Portsmouth Crash
Hampshire Roads Policing Unit shut down Goldsmith Avenue, Portsmouth, after a pedestrian was struck and seriously injured. The crash happened just after 10am near the pedestrian crossing on Fratton Way.
Paramedics and Air Ambulance Rush to Scene
Paramedics from South Central Ambulance Service arrived quickly, followed by specialist medics from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. The victim was given life-saving treatment on the spot before being airlifted to Southampton Trauma Centre.
Police Investigation Underway
Hampshire Police have been contacted for comment as inquiries continue into this serious incident.
