Knife-Wielding Suspect Caught Minutes After 999 Call
Sussex Police were called just before 9:30am after a member of the public spotted a man carrying a knife around Marine Parade. Officers quickly spotted and detained a suspect on nearby Madeira Drive, a photo obtained by Sussex News reveals.
Victim Rushed to Hospital – Condition Unknown
“Police received a report of a man with a knife in Marine Parade, Brighton, shortly before 9.30am on July 2. Officers attended and a man was arrested and taken into police custody. We are aware of a report of a stabbing nearby, and a man has been taken to hospital. The incident is being treated as linked.” – Sussex Police
