Man Caught Carrying Axe on Busy London Road

Police swooped after a man was spotted carrying an axe on 1 Road (N7) this morning.
The Metropolitan Police were called at 9:49am on Tuesday, 19 August. Officers reached the scene within three minutes and wasted no time detaining the suspect.
Suspect in Custody
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon. He remains in police custody as investigations continue.
No Injuries Reported
Luckily, no one was harmed during the incident, police confirmed.
