Man Found Dead at Brighton’s Grand Hotel in Early Morning Tragedy
A man was tragically declared dead after emergency services rushed to Brighton’s iconic Grand Hotel just before dawn on Wednesday.
Emergency Services Race to Kings Road
Police were called shortly before 6am over concerns for the man’s welfare. Paramedics fought to save him but sadly pronounced him dead at the scene.
Seafront Briefly Locked Down as Police Probe
- The seafront outside the Grand Hotel was quickly cordoned off while officers launched their investigation.
- Sussex Police say there’s currently no suspicion of foul play.
“We were called to The Grand Hotel in Brighton shortly before 6am following a report of concern for a man’s welfare. Sadly, the man was confirmed deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed and a file will be prepared for the coroner,” a police spokesperson said.
Grand Hotel Staff Assist as Investigation Continues
Staff at the famous seafront landmark assisted emergency crews. Police stayed on site for hours. Guests reported seeing a flurry of ambulance and police vehicles in the morning.
No identity has been released as formal identification is ongoing.
