Man Dies, Another Seriously Injured in Shocking Coventry Stabbing
A man has died and another suffered serious injuries after a brutal stabbing in Coventry this afternoon.
Stabbing Rocks Newcombe Road
Police rushed to Newcombe Road around 2pm today. They found two men with stab wounds. Tragically, one was pronounced dead at the scene. The other man sustained potentially life-changing injuries and was rushed to hospital for emergency treatment.
West Midlands Police Launch Major Probe
West Midlands Police have opened a major investigation to uncover what led to the violent attack. The area remains cordoned off while forensic teams comb the scene for clues.
“This is a deeply shocking incident, and our thoughts are with the family of the man who has tragically lost his life. We are doing everything possible to support them at this time and to understand exactly what has happened,” a police spokesperson said.

Detectives are calling on anyone who witnessed the incident or has CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
