Man Stabbed in Greenwich Street Attack
A man was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Greenwich this evening. Police launched an urgent investigation and sealed off a crime scene on Blissett Street near Maidenstone Hill, SE10.
Emergency Services Respond Swiftly
The attack happened just after 5:30pm on Tuesday, March 25. The Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service were quick to arrive. They found the victim with stab wounds, treated him at the scene, then took him by road to a major trauma centre. His condition remains unknown as officials await a medical update.
“Police were called shortly after 17:30hrs on Tuesday, 25 March to reports of a stabbing on Blissett Street, SE10. Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A man was found with stab injuries and taken to hospital where he remains. A crime scene is in place. No arrests yet. Enquiries continue,” a Metropolitan Police spokesperson said.
Major Emergency Response Including Air Ambulance
The London Ambulance Service confirmed their huge response, sending multiple units and London’s Air Ambulance to the scene.
“We were called at 5:43pm to reports of a stabbing on Maidenstone Hill, SE10. We dispatched an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a fast response car, an incident response officer, and the Air Ambulance. A patient was treated at the scene then taken to a major trauma centre by road,” an LAS spokesperson said.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
The scene remains cordoned off as forensic teams carry out detailed investigations. Police have not identified any suspects or motives so far.
