Teen Shot in Legs Outside Southampton Home

Detectives are hunting for answers after a 17-year-old boy was shot in the legs and ankles last night (Feb 19) on Bluebell Road, Southampton. The victim was rushed to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Shooting Sparks Police Investigation

The shooting happened around 10.15pm outside a local home. Officers sealed off part of Bluebell Road early today to carry out forensic work. Detective Inspector Adam Edwards told reporters: “We believe this was an isolated incident with no wider risk to the community.”

He added that police are working hard to piece together what happened and will be knocking on doors in the area. Extra patrols have been assigned to keep locals safe and calm.

Detectives are urging anyone who was near Bluebell Road at the time to come forward. If you heard or saw anything suspicious around 10.15pm yesterday, call police on 101 and quote incident number 44190059982.
