Teen Stabbed to Death Amid East London Knife Rampage

An 18-year-old teen, Jordan, was stabbed to death near Dagenham Heathway Tube station during a brutal eight-hour stabbing spree that claimed two other victims in East London.

Tragic Family History of Knife Violence

Jordan’s family is no stranger to heartbreak. Three years ago, his brother Calvin Bungisa, 22, was killed in a stabbing attack in Camden. Calvin was ambushed and murdered in Gospel Oak in April 2019.

Today, Jordan’s uncle Michel A. Pongo, a councillor for Barking and Dagenham, shared a photo of Jordan and pleaded with gang members to quit carrying knives.

“It was with great sadness that I learned this afternoon that my nephew, Jordan, 18, had been stabbed to death in Dagenham last night. His mother is distraught. This message is intended for gang members. Drop the dagger and leave the gangster lifestyle before it’s too late.”

Multiple Stabbings Rock East London

  • A 16-year-old boy was knifed to death outside Kelmscott School in Walthamstow at 4.39pm on Friday after assailants lurking nearby attacked him.
  • A man in his twenties was stabbed dead at a Hackney residence around 11pm the same night. Three suspects — two men and a woman — are in custody on suspicion of murder.
  • Shortly after the Hackney killing, Jordan was attacked during reports of machete clashes between two gangs. A 20-year-old man has since been charged with his murder.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Detective Chief Inspector James Shirley said the investigation is moving quickly but urged anyone with information to come forward.

“I would like to thank everyone who has already spoken to officers. I urge anyone who has not yet come forward to do so as soon as possible. Please check dash cams and doorbell footage and share anything unusual with us.”

The Metropolitan Police are hunting the killers and calling on the public to help end the knife crime spree sweeping East London.
