Can You Spot These Men? Met’s Counter Terror Command Hits Public for Tips

The Met’s counter-terror detectives have released sharper images of four men linked to recent protests. They’re hunting these blokes over serious allegations and believe the new pics will help the public ID them.

Who Are They? Details From the Street

Commander Dominic Murphy, leading the Met’s Counter Terrorism Command, said: “We’ve been pushing hard to identify these men tied to protests in London. Today, we’ve got clearer images and we’re urging anyone with info to come forward.”

Here’s what the Met know so far:

  • Two men linked to an anti-Semitic racial hatred incident at a protest on Regent Street, 14 October.
  • Two men connected to inviting support for a proscribed organisation at Trafalgar Square on 4 November.

Descriptions to Watch For

  • Protest on Regent Street:
    • Man 1: White puffer jacket, tight white zip-up, light blue jeans, boots. Close-cropped hair, short beard, light brown skin.
    • Man 2: Light grey puffer jacket over white/grey top, black & white baseball cap marked ‘97’. Dark hair and beard.
  • Protest at Trafalgar Square:
    • Man 1: Asian heritage, 40-50 years old, grey beard, grey work trousers, dark hoodie with white square/yellow triangle logo (Gas Safety Register logo – possibly linked to local home visits).
    • Man 2: Age 20-30, black hoodie, light green or camouflage tracksuit bottoms.

Commander Murphy adds: “The logo on one offender’s hoodie suggests he might have been working in the area. Maybe you remember a tradesman visiting your home that day?”
