Murder Probe Launched After Fatal Stabbing in Leicester
A chilling stabbing has sparked a murder investigation in Leicester’s New Parks area. The deadly attack happened on Glazebrook Road at around 1:15pm on Wednesday 22 May.
Multiple Arrests Made
- Two 17-year-old boys are in custody, arrested on suspicion of murder.
- A 52-year-old man has been arrested for assisting an offender.
- Also held are a 36-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman, both suspected of violent disorder.
Police Urge Witnesses to Step Forward
Detective Inspector David Greenhalgh from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit spoke out, calling on anyone with information to come forward. He stressed the attack happened in broad daylight in a residential area.
“If you have doorbell, CCTV, or dash-cam footage related to this incident, please contact the police. Even seemingly insignificant details could be crucial,” DI Greenhalgh urged.
Witnesses who saw anything linked to the stabbing are urged to get in touch immediately.
