Man Dead After Horror Incident at East London Care Home

Police were scrambled to an adult care facility on Glen Road, E13, at around 3.45am on Tuesday, 3 January, after reports of a man injured on the premises.

Tragic Scene at Glen Road Care Facility

Officers and paramedics found a 34-year-old man suffering head injuries. Despite their urgent efforts, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Murder Probe Underway

Detectives from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command have launched a murder investigation. They are currently informing the victim’s next of kin.

A post-mortem is scheduled for 1pm on 4 January at East Ham Mortuary.

Suspect in Custody

A 21-year-old man, who also lived at the facility, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as the inquiry continues.
