Manhunt Underway After Brutal Moped Stabbing Outside SE1 Restaurant
Met Police Launch Murder Inquiry
A dramatic manhunt is underway after a moped rider stabbed the owner of Rincon Costeno in front of a crowd of onlookers. Murder squad officers from the Met Police have taken charge of the investigation.
Victim Dies at the Scene
The attack happened at 7.46pm on Tuesday, 14 December in Hampton Street, SE1. Emergency crews, including London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance, rushed to the scene. Despite their efforts, the 23-year-old victim was pronounced dead on the spot. His family have been informed.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
