Early Morning Assault Shakes Nottingham City Centre

In the early hours between 4 a.m. and 4.30 a.m. on June 4, 2022, a 25-year-old woman was punched in the face in Old Market Square, Nottingham city centre. The attack left her with facial injuries and broken glasses.

Friends Also Attacked but Escape With Minor Injuries

The victim’s friends tried to intervene but suffered only minor injuries. The shocking assault has left the victim bruised and shaken.

Police Hunt Woman Who Could Crack Case

Officers are eager to speak to a woman seen in CCTV images who could hold the key to solving the incident. “This was an upsetting incident for the victim,” said PC Phoebe Lau of Nottinghamshire Police. “After reviewing CCTV from various shops and venues, we believe she may have vital information.”

“Our investigations are ongoing. If anyone knows who this woman is, please come forward,” added PC Lau.
