Life-Saving Efforts on the Spot

Without hesitation, the officers began CPR immediately and kept it up until paramedics arrived and took over treatment. Thanks to their swift action, the man was rushed to hospital and is now in stable condition.

Top Cop Praises Officers’ Bravery

Detective Chief Inspector Neal Miller said: “Doctors at the hospital told us that without the officers’ quick response, the man’s condition would never have improved, and he wouldn’t have made it to hospital. It’s no exaggeration to say their actions saved a life last night.”

“Everyone at Essex Police sends thoughts and best wishes to the man and his family, hoping for a full recovery.”

“These officers show the very best of our force. We’re more than crimefighters – we pride ourselves on helping our communities every day. Each officer will be recognised within the force and given all the support they need.”
