Nine American Bulldog Puppies Stolen in Early Morning Raid
Raid in Charminster Road
At around 4:20am on Tuesday 24 May 2022, burglars broke into a home in the Charminster Road area. They made off with nine young American Bulldog puppies from inside the property.
The homeowner heard male voices but by the time they got downstairs, the thieves had vanished into the early morning gloom.
Police Launch Urgent Investigation
Police Sergeant Sarah Hodgson from Dorset Police said: “An investigation is underway to identify the offenders and locate the stolen puppies.”
She appealed to the public: “If anyone saw or heard anything suspicious in Charminster Road in the early hours of Tuesday 24 May, please get in touch immediately.”
Public Help Needed to Track Puppies
Sergeant Hodgson added: “If you’ve seen the puppies for sale locally under strange circumstances or know where they might be, contact Dorset Police straight away.”
She is also asking for residents or drivers to check any CCTV or dashcam footage from the time to aid the investigation.
