Firefighters Battle Blaze

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) were called at 4:39pm after reports of a shed ablaze. Two fire engines raced to the scene and quickly tackled the flames using a high-pressure hose reel jet. The fire was extinguished within an hour.

One Injured, Cause Still Unknown

One individual was treated at the scene before being handed over to South East Coast Ambulance Service paramedics. Their condition remains undisclosed, and it’s unclear if they were taken to hospital.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

KFRS Urges Fire Safety

“Crews responded swiftly and used firefighting equipment to tackle the shed fire. One individual was handed over to ambulance crews for further assessment,” a KFRS spokesperson confirmed.

Residents are warned to keep garden sheds and outbuildings fire-safe, especially with warmer weather increasing the risk of accidental fires.
