Pensioner killed in fatal Kent collision
A serious collision near Marden is under investigation and officers are seeking information. The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Wednesday 11 December 2019 on the B2079 Goudhurst Road, where a blue Hyundai i10 being driven towards Winchet Hill was involved in a collision with a blue Kia Sorrento travelling in the opposite direction. Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit and ambulance crews attended and the driver of the Hyundai, a woman in her 80s, was declared deceased at the scene following the collision. Her next of kin have been informed. A man and a woman were also taken to a local hospital for medical attention to injuries.
