Violent attempted robbery in Gravesend leaves motorcyclist seriously injured
Attack unfolds across Gravesend streets
Police are hunting for dashcam and CCTV footage after a brutal attempted robbery left a man hospitalised with serious leg injuries.
The shocking incident took place at around 4.40pm on Sunday, 16th March. It started on Rochester Road where the victim, riding a Honda motorcycle, was targeted by two men on a black and purple electric bike.
Thugs kick victim, force crash, then try to steal bike
According to Kent Police, as the rider made his way through town, the suspects repeatedly kicked him. This violent assault forced the man to crash into metal railings on Parrock Road.
Even after the crash, the attackers continued their assault and tried to steal the motorcycle. Thankfully, they fled empty-handed.
Kent Police issue urgent appeal for witnesses and footage
Kent Police confirmed enquiries are ongoing. Officers are urging anyone who saw the attack or who may have captured the suspects on dashcam or CCTV around Rochester Road, Old Road East, and Parrock Road to come forward.
